Black coal morning
Shoe shrine bed altar,
Crucified by flames.
Night’s dead womb
Fallows solitary plough
Suddenly, constellations of puddles.
starriness streaking
from colliding depressions…
I/ eye rise(s) in the rainfall
harnesses micro-puncturing
sphericities, pools them inner
the (r)oaring in eyelashes
Bird-seed breakfast,
Naked sun-spilt rooves
In her gold sleep nightbirds.
nascence dawning’s
blood spilling mistiness
carve~ crave more
monsoonal crisis
Skinshape mountains
Flesh lakes –
Plane overhead.
Black box love recording.
saturday late night’s
midair crashing fatalities
our stripped midribs
coalesce..[i]
indiscriminately fusing
sky & flesh, drinks into
hybridized Indo-Welsh
Tea(r)s[/i]
Yesterday,
Words tied our lungs.
Today,
Bloodfall
oxygenates
each breath.

outside the sad snideness, the image is perfect. I heard/read about the air-india crash tonight in the heavy rain. the 7-8th stanzas brutally expresses that hurt and longing comfort for the other.

Alright you had me at crucified by flame. Holy hell. What an image, rendered with force of economy. Our stripped midribs is so raw it's practically gory. You've captured a horrific event, a plane crash, it seems like, though I haven't heard about it. Fascinating to contemplate.
