White Noise
The water runs
to soothe a restless soul.
The fan blows
it's the most peaceful
sound I know.
The AC, set at 60 hums away
laying down, trying to forget the day.
There's radio static coming
from an unknown source
and all of a sudden I'm worrried
how much money all this electricity
and water will cost me.
