The Ones Who Hurt the Most Know it's the Ones You Love You Hurt the Most

since I was born I've always been a fighter
hard rock formed around my heart
when people attacked with hateful words
it just made me more vicious
knowing I could hit them with spite like knives
and I couldn't careless what they thought
except when it came to you
held you close too many times
kissed you hard so many ways
history so lovely
that it brought me to this point
where now you're saying painful rhetoric
and I return fire with no care of what I'm breaking
wish I knew what you really were saying
knowing that anger is probably well deserved
sometimes I don't know the right things to do
I pray to the sky
but even the Gods can't help me
I've always been a strong man
working hard to make my mind and body tough
but now that rock around my heart has crumbled
I'm down on my knees
hands cupping my face
tears flowing like years out my body
you make me cry
