The Middle
I stand in the middle .
Confused by both sides.
A tit for tat circus that divides us all.
I stand in the middle .
As I watch our unity persish.
To think we all are undoubtedly the same .
But then be proven we have hills to climb .
I stand in the middle.
I wonder what the one thing will be to unify ?
As my heart aches in knowing more will die in the process.
We all bleed and die regardless of our outer shells.
We all hope , some in secret a life after exists.
There are no 2 sides in heaven.
I stand in the middle.
I support police , but despise brutality, and abuse of power .
I support Black Lives Matter .
I realize we are not equal until the hate dies.
I don't believe in shutting our doors to hardworking people from other countries.
I believe in deporting convicted violent offenders as would any other country.
But not to the hardworking people pursuing the American Dream.
Just as others did , and were instrumental to our success as a nation .
No peace will ever come until we all meet in the middle.
I speak for the ones who pull out their hair in rage seeing such obvious injustices.
I speak for the ones who don't have to piggy back off others ideology to sound self important.
The ones who are Truly awake.
I stand in the middle.
And I see nothing but madness on either side.
Confused by both sides.
A tit for tat circus that divides us all.
