I did not have to see your eyes
to feel the daggers
from your words
cutting into my soul.
Like Osiris I can be remade
from pieces
and live on reassembled
though you can only understand
by breaking me down.
But I am water;
you can ripple me
but my depths will outlast your efforts,
a tidal shift is my future.
