Don't Say Goodbye,
Cobalt tides spiral, a chaotic
whorl of fractal images on
silica, burn the windswept
dunes where ankles sink.
Influence flows, over sounds
that spill, from yesterday's
pocket, slicing through time,
like blades of sharp grass.
The melody of us, defined.
Boughs lean in, under the
weight, of physical death.
Sorrow passes, replaced with
understanding, that our life,
our love, will never fade
