That photo is so creepy it's like an oil slick at midnight. The poem is haunting, and like the depth of water, remains unseen and unknown unless one takes the chance to dive.
I am terrified of dark water. I have no idea why, probably a past life thing. I could never dive into the ocean or lake at night; not even the day. . .though I have forced myself at times to challenge that fear. This one stirred some emotions - maybe it's because I am a water baby. Dunno. But it was good.

I'd be hard pressed to get in lake st clair at anytime of the day. It grosses me out.
Lots of muck and seaweed .
I used to swim there when i was little, and I was chillin in the water, and a freakin turd, a giant human turd, was doing a tornado type move right next to me. Disgusting....
Later that beach was closed due to E-coli and straight piping. All the shit and piss I probably swallowed, makes me wanna ralph. Im surprised I dont glow at night and live in the sewer like a Toxic Avenger.

Water like this does hide people- I mean things you don’t want to see. Yeah, that’s what I meant😉😬
Aside from the unfortunate memories I do rather enjoy water and what the poem reflects (or doesn’t). Great write and interesting pic! H🌷
