In my dreams you return,
When I wake your memory burns,
Time brings some relief,
And though i've let you go,
I still wish you were mine to keep.
For you see I cannot hide,
The simple fact is your no longer mine,
My heart has healed and I must move on,
But why does it feel as if your not gone.
And one day when you forgive,
Perhaps some memories we can relive,
Only then can I put this to rest,
