I think and I am

Hi. My name is Ayanna.
I have taken time to defy and deny those who
despise me, try me; make me cry.
They are beneath what I stand for.
They are the dirt I walk lightly on.
The are the creatures for who I mourn.
They are the ones for who I stand to change.
The ones who will remember my name.
They will bow and cover their eyes in shame.
God's creatures are one in the same.
I stand proud, loud, and proclaim his name.
I am a child of the most high
So what are you to kick sand in my eye?
How can you stand to talk slander on me
Put scars from your evil banter on me.
I plead for a challenge.
I embrace the inbalance.
I stand on the side of blessings not chance
I stand on the highest hill and I dance
because my dream ain't just somethin i chase.
It's somethin I face, somethin I embrace,
A thrill i seek. And if you will,i speak
louder,
through dissonace and as hills get steep
I rise.
I see past what you don't want me to
Tell me I can't. Because I don't believe you.
You are the brown dirt
you are the muddy earth
you are a dead mans old body
ground, brown dark and soddy.
But me?
I Think and I am
I see and I can.
I am not just a person on earth.
i am the evergreen that grew tall and fruitful from the dirt.
