CATATONIA
I can feel it approaching;
The sun-baked gaze of sun-bright eyes,
That sorry-stung of a dove
Whose love is turned cold
I can feel it approaching;
My tear-itchy eyes are knocking,
Praying never to see that move
Of gnashing teeth and dreadful fold
I can feel it approaching;
When my prison shall know no beep
And ring no glory of endeared thoughts,
Whose stench shall wear a burning smile
I can feel it approaching;
When I can nolonger look into the sun,
Your warmth, now a blazing flame
Burning, walking off our fame
I can feel it approaching;
Endless roads of no interest
Pointed at me, knowing I have to move,
But how can I when I'm maimed?
I can feel it approaching;
What I use to fear most
The very reason why heaven is silent
Maybe if they had listen a bit longer.
I can feel it approaching;
When blindness shall fill your tracks,
Even the dots you left behind,
Time is already threatening to erase.
I can feel it approaching;
The earth is dying,
The stars are falling,
Gravity is dying, I'm swooning...
I can feel it approaching;
Cold feet, through empty rooms, walking
Darkness crawling in, my hands shiver,
I wonder why the sun can't shine forever!
