Imagine A World Without The Melanin
Come take a walk with me,
Into a world that may or may not be,
Depending on the harse reality,
A world where blacks do not exsist
No black actors
or actresses
No black singers, dancers
Or athlete
No black anything
And to take you back a little further,
What if our ancestors remained in their land
and black slave no longer on demand,
Now things would look a little pale
And what a dull world this would be,
When you kill our young kings and Queens
You strip away our legacy,
A future of vibrant colours and ethnicity,
Now do you see?
Just let the melanin be!
Into a world that may or may not be,
Depending on the harse reality,
A world where blacks do not exsist
No black actors
or actresses
No black singers, dancers
Or athlete
No black anything
And to take you back a little further,
What if our ancestors remained in their land
and black slave no longer on demand,
Now things would look a little pale
And what a dull world this would be,
When you kill our young kings and Queens
You strip away our legacy,
A future of vibrant colours and ethnicity,
Now do you see?
Just let the melanin be!
