Fear of You

The feeling of rejection to leave is almost as bad as your punches
Which happened after I requested to go home
"Stay" you said
"I can make you happier" you said

If your definition of happier is painful then I reject that offer
I can't say that to your face though
For fear of what you'd do to me takes over
Do I try to leave and risk getting hurt or stay and hurt

The question bounces around just like you bounced me around
From one slap to the other like a game of volleyball
Except I was the ball
I was the one getting smacked around and getting told what to do
