the weight of water
Descending staircase
Of ocean swell
Over moist tilting stones,
Broken breakers/sea architrave
And banderols of sea weed.
Bible black pearl straddles
Foam fences, we dive for
Plastic relics & fish fillet knives
To slice the beady eyes, which
Have observed land
Thru’ aquatic lens,
Empire’d centuries.
Fountains burst up
To edge of Sirius,
Falling back to earth
With tears like Laika.
We need these
Liquefied eyelids:
Spray from fountain
Mouth of imagination.

reminds me instant of the classic tamil epic Tirukkural Couplets of 400 AD or before..which is 1330 couplets & is said to be 'the Tamizh Vedas' or the Divine Book... its Couplet 20.. is that of Water .. roughly in my words..
'without water there is no world.. &
without rain, men could have nothing done..'
the verses in all its minimalistic delivery.. take me deep into the swelling lens visions underwater.. the aqauatic tribe I feel ever breathes deep.. in your traverse & reminiscence of ages crossed.. a timelessness.. a melancholy.. of sacred tears .. yes, tears are the rains of this Soul.. the fountains that they flow pure.. are mountainously laden in (e)motional feltness & the kinetic fire/ ice they inspire.. either in the panaceal pacifyings or catalytic kinetics or the raging righteousness .. or much more.. juzme as I feel from your intensities versed.. feels heavy . the ageless soul in carriage of this all & nil of births.. in liquefying streams with~ within..
