Explicitly Forced Fear

Trouble comes upon me
in groves of sub~par humanity
No soliciting allowed here, read the sign

I didnt not ask to be forced into fear
they just took what they felt was theirs
yet again, someone else wins
I thought that the therapy years ago was enough

Enter PTSD and numerous meds
What about what was done to me?
forced to carry tainted white lace
black ribbons drenched in my future self's blood

I refuse to live in forced fear
you cannot make me speak
no one came when I once screamed so loudly
I will forever remain silent

Where the fuck were all of that awful night?
when the street lights bled the color of a vicious sin?
Fuck off with your "I need to speak up" bullshit
None of you could handle
the fury
the anger
the oozing scars
the pain
the screams
the numerous times suicide thoughts were in the rear view mirror
nor the sobs
the terrible nightmares
you could never handle what you would hear
spoken out loud from
these terrified broken lips...
