Scaredy Cat
With tall pointy ears
And a lop-sided smile
And whiskers that seemed
To stretch for a mile
And a soft fluffy tail
With long big feet
That could pound the ground
With a regular beat
It could hop for miles
Or burrow deep down
And get easily afraid
At Mister Fox Brown
Of ferrets, or guns
And dogs, and nets
Or tremble with fear
When taken to the vets
Or feelings of discomfort
Of magicians with hats
But most of all
Being eaten by big furry cats!
And a lop-sided smile
And whiskers that seemed
To stretch for a mile
And a soft fluffy tail
With long big feet
That could pound the ground
With a regular beat
It could hop for miles
Or burrow deep down
And get easily afraid
At Mister Fox Brown
Of ferrets, or guns
And dogs, and nets
Or tremble with fear
When taken to the vets
Or feelings of discomfort
Of magicians with hats
But most of all
Being eaten by big furry cats!
