June Snow

This is an old story with a great tragedy, and we believe that unexpected snowfalls in a warm season mean a grievance is just happening...                                    
                                     
       The heroine Dou Duanyuan was sent to the Cai family as a daughter and changed her name to Dou E when she was only 7 years old, for her father Dou Tianzhang had no money to pay off debts.                                      
       When Dou E was 17 years old, she got married to a young man, but less than two years after marriage, her husband died, and she lived with her mother-in-law. One day, her mother-in-law wanted to get back the money which was lent to a doctor called Sai Lu. The doctor was not only not willing to return the money, but he also wanted to strangle the old woman. Luckily, she happened to be rescued by Zhang Luer and his father.                            
       Unexpectedly, Zhang Luer was a scoundrel. He and his father moved into Dou E's house without their permission and forced her mother-in-law to marry his father and Dou E to marry him, but Dou E refused.                                    
        Zhang Luer wanted to poison Dou E's mother-in-law with mutton soup to occupy Dou E, but by accident, his father drank the soup and died. Therefore, by this chance, Zhang Luer framed Dou E's mother-in-law as the murderer. Dou E couldn't bear to see her mother-in-law suffer from the false accusation, so she admitted that she killed the old man.                                   
        After spring in June, Dou E was tied up and sent to the execution ground where she was going to be beheaded by the executioner. Before death, Dou E vowed to show her grievances by splattering her blood into the sky without falling down onto the ground, and her body would be buried by three feet of snow. Soon after that, blood splashing and snow falling in June were fulfilled on the spot.
