Ive always wanted to go to Trinidad one year to check out carnival, it looks like a good time.

The entire Eastern Caribbean (and Jamaica for many years now) celebrates carnival in the springtime. When life becomes normal again (post-COVID-19), you can book your ticket to a favoured destination.
Many preliminary activities lead to the main event -- kiddies carnival in which schools participate, rivalry between community groups that vie for the King and Queen trophies, and then the final parade of the champions.
