Caffeine Connection

Michael leaned over his morning paper. Flicking through the pages his eyes scanned for any sign of good news.

He was out of luck, there was none!

All he could see was bad, bad, bad. Continual trouble in the Middle East, the President putting his foot in his mouth once again, floods and disaster over the world; he couldn’t even get a glimmer of hope from stock market reports.

Pausing, Michael took a drink of his steaming coffee. Leaning back he raised his cup to the nearby percolator in silent salute. At least there was something he could rely on.
