NHS
In these times of a terrible pandemic,
Who's at the front line? Oh yes our medics.
For everyone that works for the NHS,
We as the public should feel blessed.
For the cleaners, porters and nurses,
I couldn't say thank you in 100s of verses.
To thank them for being on the frontline,
Fighting this battle no matter the time.
Working all hours on an endless shift,
We as the public should value their gift.
The NHS is the backbone of our land,
And each worker I'd love to shake by the hand.
Each and every one of them should be applauded,
And every one of their actions should be recorded.
We as a nation should feel humbled,
As without the NHS, our country would crumble.
