This Tree
I sit in this tree,
waiting for you
but you always never show.
I'll stay up in those graceful branches,
tangled in it's leave all night
and cry
because you didn't have the guts to say hi.
But
I know this tree loves me more than you ever did.
I always sit in this tree
waiting for you to show.
You always do come by
but you never say hi
so I just sit there
and
cry.
No love from you.
So no love from me.
Just only from my tree.
One day
you'll see me
just sitting in this tree
and
you'll climb up
this huge Oak's trunk,
a smile upon your beautiful lips.
You'll say hi
but I'll scoot away,
my soul far gone
because of the tears I shed,
the ones you caused.
You say you love me,
you say you really do.
I just sigh and shake my head
and tears start to flow.
I told you you lied
and
that you never loved me.
waiting for you
but you always never show.
I'll stay up in those graceful branches,
tangled in it's leave all night
and cry
because you didn't have the guts to say hi.
But
I know this tree loves me more than you ever did.
I always sit in this tree
waiting for you to show.
You always do come by
but you never say hi
so I just sit there
and
cry.
No love from you.
So no love from me.
Just only from my tree.
One day
you'll see me
just sitting in this tree
and
you'll climb up
this huge Oak's trunk,
a smile upon your beautiful lips.
You'll say hi
but I'll scoot away,

because of the tears I shed,
the ones you caused.
You say you love me,
you say you really do.
I just sigh and shake my head
and tears start to flow.
I told you you lied
and
that you never loved me.
