CROSS REFERENCING

To talk in the early hours
about the fall of the
Roman Empire,
or how the Duke of
Normandy tricked Harold,
this is what has put a
smile on my face
for a whole day.

Knowing how much
my son and I can
share, how much he
teaches and helps
me to see the
things I'd neglected
to learn in my youth,
the history of mankind
analysed to find a
truth that is balanced.

Bias considered, revealing
facts common to various
sources, we cross
reference each other
and it fills me
with joy!
