there's tomorrow, and there's maybe
I am trying to live
through life
I am trying to live
through death
and the worst kind
of life is living
through
death
long walks in the
park no longer
can bring
peace
the early warmth of an
early spring sun can
no longer bring
comfort
the robins dancing in a
field no longer bring
wonder
the ancient trees in the
park, gnarled and
twisted with
wisdom
understand the birth
and death of the
seasons
the sun knows it can
not burn away or
warm the
disquiet
of fear
the robins dancing is a
shadow, lost deep,
buried in the
past
no armor donned can
protect the world
from the
truth
but maybe
there will be a
tomorrow
with trees, sun
and robins
dancing
let's find
out
