In those waking moments,
when the visions are so clear,
the reality in the darkness
lies distant, but so near.

Trying to recall
a new found insight.
trying to return
in the early morning light

To what was happening
in your dreams.
knowing that for some reason
it seems important.

So often it's lost,
but some hint remains.
a sign or a symbol
that contains

A key,
into that
internal world,
where the answers are.
