As The Clouds Roll Past Us
Yeah I can see it
all that beauty
it just doesn't
impress me,
should it?
It's a magicians Illusion.
The ugly seems real.
Maybe this is Hell
or the closest we'll
ever be to heaven
or neither
who knows,
who cares?
all that beauty
it just doesn't
impress me,
should it?
It's a magicians Illusion.
The ugly seems real.
Maybe this is Hell
or the closest we'll
ever be to heaven
or neither
who knows,
who cares?

I tried to shape this poem like a top hat and a face, like a magician. Can you see it or am I nuts? Lol

See it and success ... What beauty no longer holds sway over our perceptions often speaks to the dichotomy of life ... Love it ... Bless and love ...

Yeah, is the 'magicians illusion' line, the mustache at all?
I don't think you should question whether or not the clouds impress, after all, they're transitional in nature & by the time you've decided, the mood has changed, cos that's what they do.
However, let it be far from me to tell you how to think. ;-)

So, just finished re-reading Survival of the Prettiest, and one of the take-aways is the biological mechanism of beauty as a trigger to turn off reasoning centers. Crafty knee jerk push back you have to a lulling maneuver
