Smouldering Inside
Those eyes
I catch my breath
Every time
Sensing
Shivers within me
A denser feeling
No fleeting passing
For a brief moment
Time doesn’t exist
Except in those eyes
The fear
Excitement
Of being lost
Keeps the ache
Smouldering inside
To me
Those eyes
Are dangerous
Wrap me up
In the secrets behind them
I glimpse fire
Heaven
The brewing storms
All pull at
My soul
If nothing
Remains of me
Let it be
A burning image
In your eyes
