Am I Really A Puzzle?

It would appear society is divided between those who are diagnosed with Autism and those who are not. This is where proper education becomes priceless.  Imagine all the time spent educating us about history, economics, English, mathematics, and so forth. When will we learn about one another so that regardless of our gifts or diagnosis,  we are accepted and understood?  

I was diagnosed with dyslexia many many moons ago.  Language has always been a challenge for me, which is why you may see a million edits on a comment; it doesn't always come out the way I am thinking.  Something gets lost between my thoughts and the communication of those thoughts.  So more often than not, I have to go back and clarify. Which, more often than not looks like an excuse! I worked very hard and took extra English courses, public speaking, became a journalist, and so forth, all in attempts to master language.  I have finally accepted I never will, not completely.  So I do the best I can, and those who love me understand, and view me through that lens of love and understanding what I meant.  Then there are those, such as this poem describes, that loom and just wait for something they can perceive is negative before they pounce.  

I guess what I am trying to say, AP, is that I understand in my own way, and that poetry is a lifesaver, isn't it? It's the one thing that allows us to get these thoughts in our head right!
