Life, is shorter than we think...

I crave another for balance; mind, body & soul, however, I know deep down that their energy triggers an imbalance in my functionality.

Perhaps, that deep fracture in my psyche has made its way to my heart & soul, and is the precursor to the escalation of feeling somewhat overwhelmed, and discontent with my chosen solitude.

My temple is already fractured, from a lifetime of minutiae, and unspoken trauma trails, and I’m not the only one.

Whilst I love people, and love engaging with various cohorts of people in my daily walk, both professionally & personally, it can be triggering.

Creatively, or otherwise.

I need frequent time outs to chillax in nature, or by scribbling notes as I tune out with my beats whilst the music blares.

The flip side to being a sensitive soul is feeling everything, in all its entirety.

I enjoy observing and reading people holistically; body language is very telling, along with words spoken, or the unspoken as I absorb the energy that surrounds me.

It’s confronting to process, and ponder the things unearthed within the depths of another, let alone the self.

Don’t tell me you love me, and yearn for my love, care & affection as you sit on the fence playing games with your own heart whilst inflicting hairline fractures upon my psyche.

Please, don’t sacrifice my fragile heart in your rusty guillotine as I’m not too sure I’ll be able to recover from that kind of wound, ever again.

It’s why I don’t commit, especially when I see you flicking that on & off switch as you attempt to trigger my insanity.

Eventually, I’ll snap and write you off too.

Because, there’s nothing worst than being committed to someone who doesn’t understand the concept of aeviternal.

Well. At least there’ll always be coffee...
