Forever Love

It’s a morning love,
Stale smile breath,
Crinkled eyes,
Sleep disturbed dark circles
And alarm grumbles.

It’s a working love,
One with no make-up,
Messy hair and sweat stained clothes,
Dirty skin
And small rumbles.

Just wrap me up in your forever arms,
let the groundhog slip away;
I don’t even have to stay here long
Just wrap me up in your forever arms,
And let responsibility slide away.

It’s a domestic love,
The laundry sounds,
Kitchen plate chatter.
Odours of salivating meal tastes
And remote-control fumbles.

Just wrap me up in your forever arms,
let the groundhog slip away;
I don’t even have to stay here long
Just wrap me up in your forever arms,
And let responsibility slide away.

It’s a passionate love,
Heated, firm touches,
Desperate, long kisses
Long, desirable rhythm
And nuzzled release mumbles.

Just wrap me up in your forever arms,
let the groundhog slip away,
I don’t even have to stay here long
Just wrap me up in your forever arms,
And let responsibility slide away.

Just wrap me up in your forever arms,
So I can keep you… my forever love.
