Within the coming dawn
A revelation found within the riddle
Wobbling along the railings of ownership
A denial that is brittle
What if you claimed your part
a path left within your failings
A virtue left unpaid
A life left unobserved
Shielding yourself with false flattery
Sustainable grief that you have left
Exhaling a fog of confusion
Leaving crumbs to feed your bitch
Your tongue is not the answer
Nor is it the lies it spews from you
Your quill has finally splintered
as your confessions are off center

Brava. It can be a terribly dark world and the struggle to find that light and peace can seem impossible. Yet, human will and desire can illuminate and triumph and I so appreciate your poem for that revelation. Well done!! H🌷
