The Libra ♎

By chance?
By fate?
By the choices we make?
I look at you and try to see through
The impossible.

I felt the pulse of your kiss.
The gentle hum of your body in the cool Autumn air.
Finding warmth in your beauty,
I was captivated by this vision of desire.
Passionately lost somewhere
Deep in your eyes,
My hand grasped your hair,
Pulled you close,
Magnetized.

Still we remained,
Fighting time and the tasks of the day.
Unwilling to leave,
Unable to stay.
With reluctance we forced
An unwanted escape.
We said our goodbyes
And then walked away.

Still, in the end,
 Your pull was too strong.
Our fated farewell
Did not last that long.
I couldn't resist
Your kiss,
Your taste.
Or that beautiful smile
When my hand met your face.

By chance?
By fate?
Is this something more?
I can't shake this feeling
That I've felt you before.
