We Drift
We drift down this stream of consciousness.
Poisoned bodies struggling to purge the toxins that saturate our frail organic form.
Disconnected and desensitized,
Forgotten and fading,
The eye of the mind struggles to see how it once did; with such clarity.
We drift, distracted by our service to the system.
Implanted instincts manipulating our mentality.
Coaxing us into a robotic acceptance of our place within the machine.
We become the mechanism of its motion.
It feeds on our time.
And while it feasts...
We drift. ...

Versions of Me
Who am I to question the inevitable.
Telling lies so I can to validate the Illusion.
These prying eyes are open and they're Giving me looks.
For this disguise is looking just a little Peculiar.
How many versions of me
Do there have to be,
To get to this reality.
How many versions of me?
Aeons of eternal damnation, strewn Across the blue skies of our troubled Minds.
What to do when only you believe you?

On the Eve of Autumn
On the Eve of Autumn
I've been riding the Sun for so long now.
Hearing Cicadas sing their summer song.
I wonder,
How much longer
Till they are gone?
Autumn lulls them to sleep
And winter brings silence.
For the cycle of life
So uncompromising,
Is bound by its laws
And demands full compliance.
Tonight the moon rises
On the eve of autumn
And colors will soon shift
To the beauty of aurum.
As summer retires
Enjoy fading light.
Enjoy fading warmth,
For in creeps the night. ...
I've been riding the Sun for so long now.

Ouroboros
Ouroboros
Aqueous amber light
Bends and bleeds through
The veil of time's creation.
Endless thoughts from infinite minds
Expand outward through the ether,
While greedy dendrites frantically reach For sentient signals sent by the life beyond.
They feed on knowledge like hungry anemones.
Filtering out what they can from this vast electric ocean.
Uncoiled tendrils climb translucent membranes,
Stretching out in geometric webs
Of pure symmetry.
Instinctively grasping for an anchor point,
To secure their eternity ...

Where We Go
They're reaching out.
I'm wearing thin.
Connecting to this place...
To them.
And when I'm there
They show me more,
Those I've lost,
Lives lived before.
Within subconscious space we meet.
Not quite awake,
Not quite asleep.
Thoughts are heard,
It's how we speak...
Projecting beams of energy.
When souls are split like night and day,
The darker halves are held at bay.
A path illuminates the way,
Revealing where these beings stay.
But soon those made of light return
As consciousness...

I'm sorry dear mosquito,
That you chose me for your host.
The blood you seek to make your eggs
Is long gone from this host.
Learn from your decision
To probe my empty vein.
Remember as your hunger grows...
Some choices bring us pain.
My apologies arachnid,
You're a very famished tick.
This body brings no meal for you.
Your bite won't make me sick.
Ascend a blade of grass.
Have patience, have no fear.
And soon enough,
Along will come an unsuspecting deer.
Condolences I send to you,
Voracious...

On High
Smoke escapes lips freshly kissed.
It dances through the air
In desperate attempts to return to her.
For she is the drug
And I can truly understand
The need for a return.
Seduced by her smile
As she draws closer,
I welcome the embrace.
Does she know
How her body warms my soul?
Looking at me with eyes
That seem to hide
Something deep inside,
This sweet girl ignites my passion.
Further fueling my desire.
Dark, soft skin,
Her body now exposed,
Electric to the touch.
My hand reaches...

By fate?
By the choices we make?
I look at you and try to see through
The impossible.
I felt the pulse of your kiss.
The gentle hum of your body in the cool Autumn air.
Finding warmth in your beauty,
I was captivated by this vision of desire.
Passionately lost somewhere
Deep in your eyes,
My hand grasped your hair,
Pulled you close,
Magnetized.
Still we remained,
Fighting time and the tasks of the day.

Fields of Infinity
How does one tear the color from the sky?
Standing in fields of vivid chroma,
Dispersion of light ravishes the eyes. Seducing the impassioned, prismatic mind.
Devouring the limitless beauty,
As the space between worlds dissolves Into a place where time transcends infinity.
It is then that visceral emotions concieve The overwhelming desire to feel.
Saturating the soul with the warmth of a new energy.
Forming simultaneously, a conscious
Yet unconscious reality.
The light shines and the darkness shades,
As the being grows within the radiance of...

The Thought Collector
I am the thought collector.
With a synaptic net,
I catch these fleeting reminders
Of my consciousness.
Like a child in a field,
Chasing down butterflies.
Attempting to catch all the colors.
Putting them in jars and
Storing them on the shelves of my mind.
Dusting off the fragile glass vessels
That have become memories.
Occasionally admiring my collection
As it grows.
My my, how full
These shelves have become.
Some strain under the weight of
The vast array of all the species
I have...

Stranger Times
Can you hear me speaking words that barely break the skin?
Am I talking to myself when will this end?
I am facing life not knowing what’s in store.
Can you see me as I walk right out the door?
As we are, we will fall,
Stranded in our stagnation as the world moves on.
Have you seen stranger times?
We are now in transition desperate to… survive.
Take me for granted it’s all I know everywhere that I look.
You think you know me it’s clear you don’t, this is my frustration.
So here I am all alone with my thoughts just contemplating…
And...
