So Simple is Love
So if by the morning you're here with me and you're not just an empty excuse, a lie inside my head to try and sooth my pain and dread, will you be here to help me through tonight because I would love to watch the stars bounce off of your intoxicating eyes and enveloped in your light
I fear you'll figure out my dear, that I'm nothing special and have nothing to give and after tonight this feeling will change and within a year I'll be a stranger looking back on something distant and dying in the haze of memories
But for tonight I hold you and pray for this to stay, an overtaking of happiness and bliss that we find by each other's side
And by the grace of the beauty that I find when I meet your gaze may this last forever and grow with us in these days to come
