Stop and see the stonework

Went to a Conference
at The Main Building
today;
seems only the Lions roam there
while the Sheep stay meekly
in their fields far away.

I admired the internal Architecture while wondering still,
where this fish will be happiest swimming.

Some research later and I learn
the entrance has two statues
"earth" and "water"
though "fire" and "air" were never constructed;
might be a mystical clue
but only time and fate can tell.

At least the pillars moved me slightly
and I felt proud to stand in such a grand place;
so beyond the robotic drone facade,
from time to time
my soul still sings subtly.
