Goddess of the Moon
I ask you, Goddess Luna of the Moon
Protect me on my journey
Guide me through the night
Keep me from the dangers of the dark
For I live within your light
And I love the way your shadows look
I have come home Goddess Luna
Your guidance led me through the night
The dangers stayed within the darkness
and I lived inside your light.

Author's Note
I say the first verse as I walk home alone in the dark to ask the goddess to keep me safe throughout the journey. The second verse is my thanks for her protection.
