I Blame Me
you know what,
I've only got myself to blame
for setting my heart free,
Of all the pain it has endured,
it should be in captivity.
I risked the cracks
And took a chance,
I thought that love could mend.
Now I'm back where I started,
with a heart that has shattered
With nothing else to lend.

Betrayal is a very hurting thing Sometimes we become trap by mere words with part time actions leaving us with the process of regrets and blame but we are only human it is sad when good people get with the wrong kind of man or woman I hope you aren't going through this cycle I don't know you that well but what I can relate about you is you are a good person with a deep passionate heart and kindred spirit...respect

Your poem is as real as it gets. You risked the cracks this time but I’m not so sure you will again. I think you’ve written your mission statement here. You are a strong insightful person by the tone of your writing. Sensitive and trusting, if the other party chooses to abuse those gifts they’re a putz. Keep writing. You’re style is raw and real. H🌷
