Strong-willed mentality,
A brighter future for me.
I took the world that orbits
and made it my masterpiece.
No hand-outs, I handled, my destiny.
I overcame the narrow minded island
that thought it had the best of me
And I prospered in the land of richer fields and wider grounds.
I saw a tall future for me and I took it by the horn,
I Eze Bongo carved that crown
which belonged to me!

The earth is my playground,
The work is my play
I make the bills every day,
I took look at my past
and bust a laugh,
If only my grudging neighbors could see me now.
Watch me work magic with these blessed hands
From Oak, Cedar, Mahogany
To Lazuli, Agate, Unakite,
Perfect stones if I might.
As I renovate and reconstruct structures
the normal man could only dream of,
I pass my knowledge on to the younger man
as my ancestors did to me,
A continued legacy.
