If you change First of all to Firstly, you would play right into exactly and reality.  Either/or is correct, as both are adverbs. It's simply a matter of preference.  Also I would suggest a bit of a syntax revision with this part:

My scenes exactly  
Represent reality  

to

My scenes represent
reality, exactly

Firstly,
I'm no hypocrite  
My scenes represent
reality, exactly—  
even when giving lessons  
for surviving flash inkspiration  
flooding da Nile  

If you're going to use firstly and thirdly, I suggest secondly for consistency. This is a kick-ass verse, Jess. Well done.

Well as long as it's kindly I am fine with that.  Yes; I've been around much longer than most here; and considering my mother passed at 34 ( I remember thinking how old that was then ), I am blessed to have each moment on earth with my future generation.  I will never be ashamed of my age or the process which accompanies it. xo

Why do people feel that referencing age is an insult?  I don't feel it is. You were merely respecting your elder in years. That is a trait which is disappearing from younger generations who have no respect for elders, and in many cases themselves.  

I used to not have my age listed because I didn't want to intimidate younger writers; however, it is what it is - and all ages need to be represented here. Besides, I learn something from younger writers every day. Everyone has something to learn and something to teach.
