Pride The Peacock's Behind
Intoxicated by pride,
Not arrogant
I just hold myself high.
High in a sense that i apply,
The best in all that I do.
So forgive me if i walk past you
Head held high,
Not thinking I'm better than you
While being the best of me.
I'm stinking rich with pride,
Watch selfworth drip from my pockets,
Wealth ooze from my aura
As I stand tall,
Chest to sky,
Flaunting myself like the peacock's behind.

I like it. It makes me smile a little. Never though of a peacock and us with similarities before but you are right. Well written and way to make me think differently.
