a Curse~a Cure

today I cast on the winds for the witch Gwendolyn
my mother...a Goddess among men once
a seductress fully aware of her power over their minds
for a man's love she left me unguarded

I forgive her but I will never forget her

I am a sorcerous singing to no one imparticular
now I lay be down to sleep I pray the devil stays awake
a dark star for sure

a curse and a cure
before form without limbs return to where you are safe
times three I slam the door in your face
the soul debt will not be paid here
you are on my plane of existence

there will not be two Queens

you are ordered back to the beginning
a warning...an example
I will be cruel...I can be vicious
this is how you appear to me

so distasteful

lovely ones they call us
we are beautiful, dutiful and kind

we are never sly with Mother
