The Monster Within

Below the surface, deep within    
A monster hides....  
Waiting....    
To pounce  
Growling,    
Yearning to be free  
The objective    
REVENGE!    
Clawing at the cage  
Growling in anticipation  
Excitement building    
Release is nigh,    
Waiting...    
Gaining power    
Planning every move    
Rested, ready  
Regretful  
denying himself freedom    
Believing in change    
Rattling increases    
The cage door weakens  
Screws popping    
Imagination runs wild  
Dismembering his prey  
Terror will rain  
Payback rife  
Anticipates feasting on mortal souls  
Waiting...    
Anger burns as magma bubbles  
FREE at last..    
Stealth mode engaged  
Eyes darting  
Searching, the bitch will die  
Noone will break him again  
The monster once caged  
is the anger he built  
Accepting lies and deception    
Time will not heal  
Distance, no barrier  
Victory his
