Maslow's Hierarchy

Misery on hold, delayed stagnation
modified, forcing it's hold into the
 crevices of your mind
it's frayed edges with tiny knots
preventing slippage.

The stench  of a rotting life smells
beautiful  in my smoldering nostrils
the hairs singed inhaled like rancid
amphetamine left to melt
in the sun leaving a lovely puddle
 of liquid death.

A lethal mix of decaying day lilly's
atomized and  carried by  the wind.

Into the putrid ravines ransacked
 of all the wildflowers meant
to bring euphoria to  those who
hallucinate  their minds breaking
apart at serrated edges

Maslow in his disappointment lies
 supine with tiny packing sheets
they subdue him as he begins to
fixate on needless needs popping
sheets of bubble wrap with a
crazed look on his face
Wondering where he went
wrong
