One Point Five
I miss the way the days grew brighter,
And the time apart from him was too long,
How he opened doors and surprised me with his embrace
The way he laughed at me and looked at me when he was on LSD
I miss the kindness even when angry
Out of nowhere kisses and soft smiles
Even the pride in his walk when he walked with me
Has slowly seemed to disappear
I miss how he aided me in the daily tasks
That often seemed to be so overwhelming
And fucked me with so much passion in his eyes
That which are so blank when they meet mine now
But over time I think the loved he felt died
And empathy and consideration no longer thrived
Tenderness turned to fear
Building became destruction
Integrity was lost
And my heart soon after
And the time apart from him was too long,
How he opened doors and surprised me with his embrace
The way he laughed at me and looked at me when he was on LSD
I miss the kindness even when angry
Out of nowhere kisses and soft smiles
Even the pride in his walk when he walked with me
Has slowly seemed to disappear
I miss how he aided me in the daily tasks
That often seemed to be so overwhelming
And fucked me with so much passion in his eyes
That which are so blank when they meet mine now
But over time I think the loved he felt died
And empathy and consideration no longer thrived
Tenderness turned to fear
Building became destruction
Integrity was lost
And my heart soon after
