Death and Friendship
Twin eye glisten
Water falling down
Porcelain cheeks
I've been locked inside
Dying the same death for weeks
Lace dragging the floor
From your favorite dress
The one you were going to
Get married in
But now it's a death gown
No one is smiling
You faded away, a needle sticking in
Dead veins, eyes rolled shut
Nothing is redeeming
I am not dreaming
The sky isn't blue anymore
I'm still silently screaming.

It's about a friend of mine who died in December of 2012, I was sixteen at the time and I got to her after she had overdosed and I watched her take her final breath. This time of year remind me of her. Thank you for taking the time to read, my friend.
