For the person who inspired me
To start writing poetry-

Most of your work is sad.
And that's not a problem.
You see, I can be glad;
For both you and me.

You gave me the motivation
And saw my revelation.

That my words became waves
You set into motion.
For all of my emotions,
Feel splayed and open.
Made into the ocean.

Did you really give me the sea?

You've done something I couldnt;
You set a part of me free.
I thought I knew me-
But you did something I wouldnt;
You inspired me.

I hope my admiration
Is enough compensation.
Because YOU-

You are my inspiration.
