Play with Me: A Playful Ramble

Let's have a battle of wit,
a battle of senses,
a battle of arm wrestling.

Wild eyes,
sly smiles,
and a play with words.

If I show you the weird and crazy little world of imagination that I hide deep inside, will you pull creativity from deep inside and play, too?

I want to see if you can counter my "under the radar" humor: under the radar, STRAIGHT-FACED, in a crowded room without giving away too many clues.

If I push you in, will you pull me in, too?
Can we howl, together, at the moon?
How naughty will you let me be, in the streets and between the sheets?

Can we sing, Panic! At the Disco, purposefully off key?
Or pretend to be your favorite guitarist, full blast, with the best tuned "air guitars" in key?

I want to see if I can make you laugh with a single glance, a single touch, a single word.

How will you react if I give your shoulder an "innocent" little love bite?
Or lick your face instead of kissing your cheek?

Are you going to chase after me,
if I decide to play a spontaneous game of "Tag! you're it!!"
when we're alone in the trees?
How about on a crowded street?

If I play a little prank, will a pouty lip be enough to take the anger away?
Can we stay light-hearted?
Will you smile when you're mad at me or tell me to grow up and walk away?

Are you able to match my free spirit?
And kiss me passionately when we play?
Tell me, are you game?

Author's Note
I want to be playful, not always, but sometimes...game?

Free flowing thoughts.
Not intended to have structure or beat, of course...but I may use this as inspiration to write something better later 😁

Miscellaneous because it doesn't follow a typical love poem flow.
