Misplaced Love~with the talented Sunsettown
come inside my kaleidoscope
while sweet eidolon serenade your pain
melancholy spirits of understanding welcome you
dust off your boots and relax
a maudlin moon full of deceit plagued your existence
concubines of the mind are here to serve you
dine on my innocence
I promise not to sully your watercolors
with muddied truths
she has been
the spectre
who marred my veins in dark insoluble viscose
of torment
I’ve become a marauding rock
outwitting my soul
until i found you
painting my blood blue
and when my art dies
i'll slide inside of you
your breath tell no lies inhaling my debauchery
plucking heartstrings guilt is used as a weapon
anger stirred is a refuge
inside the brightly colored halls of my sanctuary
red speaks of passion's delight
free your wrath on my flesh
pleasure's moan will sing to you a new day
upon silken sheets, we lay naked
unashamed in our sweat
the sun will remember her no more
and when we wake up
the smell of yesterday's agony
shall forever serve as perfume
in our indulgence
