sinful
the night scoffed at my weaknesses
it preyed on my illusions
great specters perched just out of my vision
demons of renown with the penchant for violence
watch me carefully waiting for me to make a mistake
their actions would be swift
there was no room for error
vile and true to their cause they chanted
burn witch burn
destroyed by your vices
little did they know I used these very things--
to strengthen my spells
big smoke rings infused with intent
with sighs captured in the moment
there would be no decoding my magic
try as they might to unlock the doors of my mind
they failed time and again times three
my power is hidden even from myself
not the devil with all his ill gotten power could get in
victory is in the sinful nature of the naturally ordered
