Plague of thoughts
I walked through
the old oak trees
Watched the waltz
of the leaves...
I thought of you
Stood amongst
the bleak, grey streets
Viewed the people
who never greet...
I thought of you
Took shelter beneath
a hanging cliff
The ocean swept
my head adrift...
I thought of you
I felt the thoughts
disolve my day
My minds decor
achromatic grey...
I thought of you
I heard the crows
caw a choir
A symphony for
the grey to sire...
I thought of you
Never far from
my minds reach
To think astray
is the greatest breach...
I think of you
I thought of you
Held my dreams hostage
with thoughts of you
I think of you
I thought of you
Must fight the will
to think of you...
the old oak trees
Watched the waltz
of the leaves...
I thought of you
Stood amongst
the bleak, grey streets
Viewed the people
who never greet...
I thought of you
Took shelter beneath
a hanging cliff
The ocean swept
my head adrift...
I thought of you
I felt the thoughts
disolve my day
My minds decor
achromatic grey...
I thought of you
I heard the crows
caw a choir
A symphony for
the grey to sire...
I thought of you
Never far from
my minds reach
To think astray
is the greatest breach...
I think of you
I thought of you
Held my dreams hostage
with thoughts of you
I think of you
I thought of you
Must fight the will
to think of you...
