Agateophobia (Fear of Insanity)
The waves wash over in electrolytic forms
Horrified we cower away from the words from our mouths
Disappearing into the shadows is not what we want
Speak out in the crowds is impossible for it will reveal
Reveal what we fear to be and fear to become
The world spins and we understand we spin with it
But what if that's wrong and it spins without us?
What if we're seeing things differently and everyone else thinks
Thinks we're crazy?
Hopefully we're not because then
Oh then there would have to be change
Change in the way we drink eat and write
Speak love and hate
Twist our smiles and beat our heads
Make sure we don't catch the crazy
Treat it almost like a disease
If one is than surely the other will be
Stay away from the people who think so strangely
Live like a normal person with normal speech
Normal is good
Normal is life
Normal is sane.
