I've said I'm sorry so many times before
So of course, I'll say I'm sorry once more
But according to the Love Story's, sweet Ali
"Love is never having to say your sorry"
So, does this mean you don't love me?
Or maybe it's you who owes me an apology?

Bravo, snuggle! That was one of my favorite movies back in the day. I always took it to mean that Love knows you're sorry by your actions, not your words. Thus, never having to say it. But I could be wrong.

Ack! A movie I haven't seen.
I want to say that the whole Love means etc means that if it is truly True Love, you will be forgiven for whatever transgression(s).
I can certainly can relate to Line 1 though, being a firm believer in saying sorry not because of the need for forgiveness, but as an acknowledgement of transgression so that the other party isn't left hanging like a mist wondering if you comprehend what you did was such.

Apologies many times are two way streets. But as long as the words come our wholeheartedly we know that we've put the positive vibes and begin to heal.

Interesting!! I guess if we have to say sorry all the time we should worry yes. We shouldn't repeat things that need frequent apologies in love. Kudos for a superb poem.
